Arrive in Amman at Queen Alia International Airport. Meet and greet at the airport & transfer to your hotel. Amman, the capital of Jordan, is a fascinating city of contrasts – a unique blend of old and new, situated on a hilly area between the desert and the fertile Jordan Valley. In the commercial heart of the city, ultra-modern buildings, hotels, smart restaurants, art galleries and boutiques rub shoulders comfortably with traditional coffee shops and tiny artisans’ workshops. Amman’s neighborhoods are diverse and range in cultural and historical context from hustle and bustle of the downtown markets to the art galleries of Jabal Lweibdeh and the modern shopping district of Abdali. Day 2

Amman

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at hotel. Between 08:30 – 09:00 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel for a full-day guided city tour of Istanbul. The tour begins with a visit to the exterior of the magnificent Hagia Sophia, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture. Continue to the historic Hippodrome of Constantinople, once the center of chariot races and public gatherings during the Byzantine era. Next, visit the beautiful Blue Mosque, famous for its stunning blue Iznik tiles and impressive Ottoman architecture. The tour then proceeds to Topkapı Palace, the former residence of the Ottoman Sultans and a significant symbol of the Ottoman Empire. Later, enjoy time at the Grand Bazaar, Turkey’s largest covered market with more than 4,000 shops offering carpets, jewelry, souvenirs, and traditional goods. After the tour, return to your hotel. Overnight stay in Istanbul Note: (*** Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays, replaced by Underground Cistern or Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum & Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays, replaced with Spice Bazaar)

Petra

After breakfast, Visit the Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra, one of the 7 world wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enter the city through 1KM long narrow gorge which is flanked either side by 80m high cliffs! Notice the dazzling colors and formations of the rocks. The site is massive, and contains hundreds of elaborated rock-cut tombs, a treasury, Roman-style theatres, temples, sacrificial altars and colonnaded streets. Dinner & Overnight stay in Petra.

Day 4

Petra

After breakfast, we head further down in southern Jordan to visit other significant sites including Wadi Rum. Explore Wadi Rum on 2 hours jeep ride into the Jordanian desert! Wadi Rum was best described by T.E. Lawrence as “Vast, echoing and god-like”, and by the locals as “Valley of the Moon”. Return to Amman hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay in Amman.
