Hearts of the Caucasus Gudauri to Tbilisi

TBA – Landing at Tbilisi International Airport. Clearing immigration and customs.
Collecting the baggage. Meeting with the company representative in the arrival’s hall
and transfer to Gudauri. First stop we will have at Ananuri Complex and Jinvali
Reservoir. Then, we will continue driving to Gudauri and visit the beautiful monument
there, which is also the good viewpoint to mesmerizing mountains of Caucasus. Here
we will have the free time for relaxation and enjoying the views. Later, check-in the
hotel and rest (Standard check-in time – 15:00). Free time to freshen up.
Overnight in Gudauri
Breakfast at the hotel. At about 10:00 am, we will start the tour – drive to one of the
most popular touristic destination in Georgia – Kazbegi. First, we will drive to Kazbegi
and change the transport to 4x4 vehicle to ride up on the top of mountain and visit the
Gergeti Monastery, which is surrounded by huge mountains of mysterious Caucasus.
Later, we will drive to Dariali Gorge, which is most important historical center of
country – main border of Georgia and Russia.
Optional: Walking tour to Gveleti Waterfall – (2 Kilometres each way) survey the
spectacular area and take the beautiful pictures of mesmerizing Caucasus mountains.
Returning to the hotel in Tbilisi and rest.
Overnight in Tbilisi
Breakfast at the hotel. at about 10:00 am – Firstly, we will drive to Mtskheta, which is
ancient capital of Georgia and one of the most important spiritual and cultural center
of country. Visit Jvari Monastey and Svetitkhoveli Cathedral there. Then, we will return
to Tbilisi and visit Trinity Cathedral.
Later, will drive to the OLD TBILISI and start the walking tour to discover the beauty of
ancient capital – walking tour starts at Freedom Square and includes Clock Tower,
Bridge of Peace, Rike Park Metekhi Church, Cable Car to the Narikala fortress (ride up
by cable car), “Mother of Kartli” and Abanotubani District (Sulfur Baths).
Walking on Rustaveli Avenue – main prospect of the city. Shopping at Flea market and
Gallery Mall.
Overnight in Tbilisi
Breakfast at the hotel; check out formalities (until 12:00 pm). Free time until Transfer.
